Nikko, new model of asphalt plant "VPIV-Clover" developed.

【News 2023/1/30】Achieved stable supply with a construction period shortened by about 15 days using unit construction methods.

◆Improving Operator Safety and Environmental Performance On January 24, 2023, Nikko Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nikko) released a new model of its asphalt plant "Value Pack" series, specifically designed for the production of recycled asphalt mixtures, called "VPIV-Clover." This model adopts a unit construction method, making it the first of its kind in Japan, and also enhances operator safety and environmental performance. ◆Improving Work Environment by Reducing Maintenance Frequency The newly developed asphalt plant "VPIV-Clover" by Nikko employs a unit construction method that is transportable by truck, based on the concept of "delivering happiness to users and cities." Compared to previous models, it shortens the plant assembly period by more than two weeks, ensuring stable supply. Additionally, the use of exterior materials with sound-absorbing and insulating properties has helped to reduce noise pollution and improve energy efficiency. By changing the layout of each device from a flat arrangement to a three-dimensional arrangement, the need for trolleys and belt conveyors has been eliminated, and the floor area has been expanded compared to previous models, thereby reducing accident risks. Furthermore, by enclosing and collecting dust and asphalt fumes generated in certain areas, the frequency of maintenance has been successfully reduced, improving the working environment for operators.
