Movable shelf parts for decorating a wall with your favorite items. This shelf creates a "showcase" in a space using iron in its raw form, featuring a matte and subdued texture.
■Master Your Unique Display
Attach shelf support parts to the wall and set shelf brackets on them. Once you attach your favorite shelves, you’ll have a display shelf that’s uniquely yours. The lightness at the base, which is characteristic of wall-mounted furniture, and the absence of side panels create a clean look in the space and provide a sense of openness.
Why not use the entire wall to freely display your individuality?
■Fall in Love with the Texture of "Raw Iron"
A modest, dull luster. A subtle gray with a bit of variation. During my search for materials, I encountered a type of iron called "Sanssen material." It was iron in its raw state, washed with acid to make it easier for plating and painting. It is stripped of the coating typically found on black iron (black skin iron).
■Seeking Forms that Enhance the Material
The brackets were designed with a focus on shapes that highlight the material's texture. With a thickness of 3mm, the areas for hooks and screw holes are shaped through bending rather than welding, preserving the "plate" feel.
While showcasing the material's texture as a surface, I trimmed it down to the minimum size that maintains the necessary strength, resulting in a proportion of 43mm in height.
