We would like to introduce a case study of switching from a compressor to a blower at a food manufacturer located in the Tokai region. In this factory, the water drainage process at the mouth was being carried out by combining a compressor and pipes, and the high electricity costs associated with the operation of the compressor had become a problem. We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the dedicated descaling nozzle 'DescaleJet Pro' at a steel mill in the American Midwest that conducts fully integrated manufacturing. At the company, the high-pressure nozzles previously used for rust removal did not provide sufficient impact, resulting in inconsistent quality. After the introduction of the new nozzle, the increased impact led to cleaner removal of rust from the strips, and the occurrence of quality issues decreased.
