It protects slopes and prevents the loss of surface soil. Our waterfront greening system, "Midori no Sochi (R)," uses a thin-layer greening substrate mat. It can withstand the effects of water level fluctuations without issue, preventing sediment runoff from slopes and achieving greening through plant communities. Our developed method of using greening cover mats for areas with fluctuating water levels prevents the loss of substrate materials by incorporating them within the mat. The "T.K Planting Mat" is a thin-layer greening substrate mat used in the rooftop greening method by Dankatsu Co., Ltd. By using a mat with a thickness of 2 to 5 cm that contains artificial lightweight soil instead of soil, quick and easy installation is achieved in a short time. There is no need to lay down more than 30 cm of soil typically required for planting, which means it does not impose a load on the building.
