Table Lamp "MJA"
Representative works of LCI's Classic Collection
This is a table-type lamp representing the classic collection of LCI, designed in 1930 by Jacques Adnet, a leading figure of French modernism. At that time, he was directing 'La Compagnie des Artes Francais' (a high-art furniture manufacturer), leading notable members such as Charlotte Perriand, Francis Jourdain, and Georges Jouve. MJA (Memory of Jacques Adnet) revived this elusive work, which was only a prototype and never went into production, in 2005. It is a table lamp composed of a square base and a hemispherical shade, finished in brass with palladium plating. The bulb socket is G9.
