We would like to introduce a case where Blickle's "heavy-duty welded steel plate swivel casters for outdoor cleaning machines" were implemented at Zonderland, a company specializing in the manufacture of high-quality agricultural machinery. The company required casters for cleaning machines, which are constantly exposed to dust and sand due to being towed by tractors, necessitating robust casters. As a result, it was determined that casters using the heavy-duty "LS series" brackets made of very sturdy welded steel plate were suitable, and they were adopted. As a result, Blickle was able to meet all of the company's requirements using two standard caster models. We would like to introduce a case where Blickle's "spring-loaded heavy-duty casters" were implemented in an automobile manufacturer's factory. For various reasons, the engineers at the factory wanted to make slight modifications to the caster's wheel lock mechanism to optimize it for new applications. To prevent collisions, the design of the brake mechanism was changed by reducing the diameter by 65 millimeters. As a result, the changes to the new casters and the optimized brake mechanism led to a reduction in wear on equipment and safety shoes, significantly lowering repair costs. An online retail company in the United States that handles a variety of products is currently making significant investments to expand its logistics and transportation business with the aim of reducing the outsourcing of its logistics management processes. They requested bids from manufacturers for casters to be used on carts for parcels. Each cart required two types of casters. Blickle proposed a solution. In addition to finding the appropriate technical solution, they were looking for a supplier that could quickly provide a large quantity of products and had experience in postal logistics. Blickle's design department developed a special specification "L-ALTH swivel caster" according to the customer's requirements. The "L-ALTH wheel" used for the casters features a tread design optimized for rolling resistance, with more convex areas than standard wheels. As a result, Blickle's engineers also designed a special directional locking mechanism operated by a cable pull. The combination of a very robust nickel-plated mounting bracket with foot guard and track lock, along with Blickle's PTH wheels, has convinced the company, and they are currently being used smoothly. We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of casters and drive wheels for unmanned transport vehicles at Grenzebach Maschinenbau. The company's unmanned transport vehicle (AGV) "Grenzebach L1200S" can enter under equipment such as desks, carts, frames, and shelves, lift the equipment, and transport it to a specific location. However, to transport heavy equipment with the AGV, casters with a high load-bearing capacity were necessary. Therefore, we adopted the specially designed caster 'LSD-ALTH 101K-AS-FA-902289'. With our dual-wheel casters and drive wheels, the AGV can now be used around the clock and operates effectively even in narrow spaces with a turning radius of less than 1 meter. As part of the lane expansion project, it was necessary to lower a bridge section weighing over 1,200 tons and measuring 53 meters in length gradually over several days. The company's experts came up with a method to lower the bridge section using casters while aligning it with the steel framework, and contacted Wache, the distributor for Blickle. Blickle's development department devised a customized solution that met all requirements, including a low mounting height for the casters and a tread width of less than 200mm. This significantly improved the previously complex lowering method that used PTFE plates, and by using specially designed casters, the bridge section no longer got stuck.
