Automated Warehouse: Parts Management Case Study (Achieving Real-Time Inventory Management)

Centralized management of warehouse inventory with system software! Data utilization for order placement and fulfillment is also possible.

We would like to introduce a case study of JUKI's automation implementation. The automated warehouse system centrally manages inventory in the warehouse using system software, visualizing the inventory status of not only the automated warehouse but also the parts shelves owned by customers in real-time, enabling effective inventory management. In addition to improving the efficiency of inventory management tasks such as stocktaking, the inventory management data can also be utilized for parts ordering and receiving operations, preventing sudden stockouts and excess inventory, and achieving smooth inventory management. 【Effects】 ■ Accurate real-time understanding of inventory levels ■ Reduction of management workload for stocktaking tasks ■ Utilization of data for ordering and receiving operations ■ Prevention of stockouts ■ Proper inventory management *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Warehouse System 'SanTos_WMS'

You can see the progress of the work at a glance! Fast and accurate work with a wireless handheld terminal.

We would like to introduce our warehouse system, 'SanTos_WMS,' which we handle. By managing warehouse operations from receiving to shipping comprehensively, it allows you to understand not only what items are where and in what quantities, but also to grasp the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, thereby improving work efficiency. Additionally, by utilizing wireless handheld devices, information sharing between the site and the office (such as shipping volume and progress) becomes possible, allowing for better awareness of daily workloads and reducing inquiries between parties, which contributes to increased work efficiency. 【Features】 ■ No misreading of forms or writing errors ■ Even inexperienced individuals can work quickly and accurately with one hand ■ Progress of shipping operations can be monitored ■ Smooth overall shipping operations can be achieved through follow-up on delayed tasks *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS)

A system that automatically handles the storage and retrieval of items in high-rise shelves, accommodating various environments and transported goods!

The "Three-Dimensional Automated Warehouse System" is a system that realizes effective use of space and efficient inbound and outbound operations. It standardizes racks for pallet storage, monorail stackers, controllers, and inbound/outbound stations, offering excellent cost performance. Additionally, it adopts an absolute address system using laser length measurement for travel and elevation, combined with vector inverter control, achieving high-speed and smooth operation. 【Features】 ■ Significant reduction in delivery time through thorough modularization and standardization ■ Construction of a total logistics system by combining with peripheral devices and equipment ■ All operations stop with dual safety functions when entering hazardous areas ■ High-precision positioning achieved through unique control using laser length measurement and inverters ■ Prevention of mast sway through vibration control (S-curve control) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

High-Density Automated Warehouse System "AutoStore"

Streamlining the 'Storage' and 'Picking' processes! An automated warehouse boasting world-class standards.

"AutoStore" is an automated warehouse system where robots handle the in-and-out storage of densely packed bins (containers). It achieves up to approximately four times the storage efficiency compared to traditional warehouses of the same area. Additionally, operators can perform picking and in-and-out operations (GTP method) without moving, reducing the labor involved in walking or using forklifts. It has been implemented in various industries such as logistics, 3PL, food, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and e-commerce, and is operational in over 1,250 locations worldwide. 【Features】 ■ Highest level of capacity among automated warehouse solutions ■ Shipping speed comparable to shuttle-type automated warehouses ■ Achieves further labor reduction by collaborating with other automation solutions in preceding and following processes ■ Can be expanded without stopping operations ■ Can be designed in desired shapes and heights *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials. Additionally, we are conducting demonstrations of "AutoStore" at our distribution center in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture. Seeing is believing! Please feel free to contact us!

Contributing to Space Saving in Warehouses [Case Study] Hayabusa Co., Ltd.

We will introduce a case where the issue of storage location was resolved, resulting in a threefold increase in warehouse picking speed!

Hayabusa Corporation was facing a bottleneck in shipping due to holding a large inventory and needed a custom-made picking platform to meet specific needs. After considering an upgrade to their automated warehouse and collaborating with Okamura Corporation, they decided to implement the "AutoStore System." By adjusting the height of the picking platform to accommodate four bins in one area and fourteen bins in another, they expanded the area of the AutoStore grid. They were able to house all products on one floor, and the picking speed increased to three times that of the previous system. [Challenges] - Each order required 3 to 4 people to work, and the system of sourcing products from multiple warehouses was cumbersome. - The automated warehouse had stairs between the first and second floors, occupying a large space. - They were operating from a flat storage warehouse, but costs were rising, and picking speed significantly decreased. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Contributing to Space-Saving in Warehouses [Case Study] Davcor Inc.

Even new employees can master the system within a day! A case where the occupied space was significantly reduced and expenses decreased.

At Davcor, the system they designed utilized conveyors, sorters, and forklifts arranged in narrow aisles, which made maintenance cumbersome. They decided to relocate the warehouse and implement the "AutoStore System." This system can perform up to 600 picks per hour when operating at full capacity. The company's return on investment was achieved in less than two years, and there was a significant reduction in inventory loss, allowing for accurate inventory management. [Challenges] - Conveyors, sorters, and forklifts were arranged in narrow aisles. - Maintenance was cumbersome. - The conveyor carousel was massive, and occasionally the entire system would fail. - The deadline for the old lease contract was approaching, so the implementation schedule was only four months. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
