Mass production molding with silicone rubber molds! Amortization based on product costs depending on the production lot.

Rigid polyurethane does not use molds for shaping. First, a master model (the product to be made) is created using a wooden model or similar, which is then used to make a silicone rubber mold, and mass production is carried out using that silicone rubber mold. Therefore, the costs for molds only require the initial expenses for creating the master model and the costs for producing the mold frame to make the silicone rubber mold. Here is an introduction to the thickness of rigid polyurethane. Compared to other general-purpose plastic materials, molded products made from rigid polyurethane have lower impact strength. Therefore, to produce sound molded products, an average thickness of 10mm or more is required for foamed molding, with a minimum thickness of 4mm in certain areas.
