The amount of water held in the cooling water tank varies depending on the equipment, but it is determined by considering the water balance at the start of operation and when the water supply pump stops, taking into account the water volume in the supply pipe. Generally, an optimal holding water volume is considered to be around 5 to 10 minutes of circulation water volume. To install a cooling tower, it is necessary to consider surrounding equipment as well. This includes the management of circulating water (chemical dosing equipment, filters), circulation of cooling water (circulation pumps, supply piping), and power and control (power panels and control panels for blowers, instrumentation, wiring). The inlet carbon particle (dust) concentration is 3 to 3.5 g/Nm³, and the outlet concentration is below 0.1 g/Nm³ (with an emission standard of below 0.3/Nm³).
