Applicable for the removal of boron, fluorine, and phosphorus! We will introduce examples of Terasuto filling tower installations.
At Kawasaki Sankou Kasei Co., Ltd., guidance was received from Shiga Prefecture, and a request for consideration was made to a certain well-known wastewater treatment manufacturer. However, due to the need for a vast installation area with the coagulation sedimentation method, along with a large amount of sludge generation leading to construction costs of several tens of millions of yen, they abandoned the idea.
As a result, they introduced a Terrast filling tower, which is mixed with active aluminum ions, where antimony co-sediments with the active aluminum ions.
After the introduction, the raw water concentration decreased from 0.07 mg/L to 0.01 mg/L, allowing for a reduction in installation costs to several million yen.
[Case Study]
■ Before Introduction
- The coagulation sedimentation method requires a vast installation area.
- A large amount of sludge is generated, leading to construction costs of several tens of millions of yen.
■ After Introduction
- The raw water concentration decreased from 0.07 mg/L to 0.01 mg/L.
- This method reduced installation costs to several million yen.
