The masterpiece of Robin Day, who was active during the British mid-century period.
The seating system "Form Group," designed by British designer Robin Day in 1960, has been reissued and reproduced under the supervision of the Robin & Lucienne Day Foundation.
Instead of the traditional methods of sofa manufacturing using wood and springs, this design adopts a structure that supports the seat cushions with rubber webbing tape. By exposing the webbing tape, which is typically used in the internal structure of sofas, on the surface and elevating it as part of the design, it was regarded as one of the most advanced designs at the time of its release.
The steel frame, cushion foam, and tables are designed to be flexibly combined, allowing for a variety of configurations to suit different lifestyles. It is one of Robin Day's representative works, which won the Design Center Award in 1961. Its unique yet sophisticated design creates a modern and high-quality space.
