When kudzu grows abundantly, it deteriorates the landscape and attracts insects, so frequent mowing was necessary. ◆ Customer's Concerns ◆ - Mowing was dangerous because the area was a slope. - Mowing needed to be done 2 to 3 times a year, incurring management costs. - Removing kudzu tangled in the fence was labor-intensive. - When kudzu wrapped around the fence, it obstructed visibility and airflow. ◆ Customer Feedback After Installation ◆ - In the year of installation, I didn't have to mow at all. The frequency significantly decreased in the following years! - The kudzu that grew on the sheet was easy to peel off, making mowing much simpler! - The visibility is always good, and it feels pleasant! * The vine guard method comes in two types: a 10-year durability vine guard method and a 20-year high-durability vine guard method. Due to the slope, annual grass cutting was difficult and labor-intensive. ◆Points for Sheet Selection◆ - A highly flexible weed control sheet that adapts well to uneven surfaces - A weed control sheet with a long lifespan Since these were the customer's preferences, we proposed the "GU Sheet," a high-durability weed control sheet designed for 20 years. ◆Customer Feedback◆ By using long anchor pins (φ9mm×400mm), we were able to securely fix the sheet even in soil where the pins did not hold well. The sheet had printed markers for pin placement, eliminating the need for prior marking and saving time. Additionally, the sheet was soft and conformed well to the uneven ground, making installation easy.

Have the edges of the weed control sheet ever been torn and frayed by the bucket or tires of a snow plow?

As a measure against weeds, weed control sheets are utilized in various locations. Particularly along roadsides, where the proliferation of weeds can obstruct the view of drivers and pedestrians, making it dangerous, weed control sheets are commonly used. In areas with snowfall, when introducing weed control sheets along the roadside, there is a risk that the snowplow's bucket may catch the edge of the sheet, or the tires may roll over the edge, causing the sheet to tear and lift. As a countermeasure, one method is to lay the weed control sheet before asphalt paving and cover the edges of the sheet with asphalt during the paving process. This is an example of using polyester weed control sheets, taking advantage of the property that polyester has a higher melting point than asphalt (approximately 260°C). *For detailed construction methods, please contact our company.
