We conduct accurate and reliable lightning observations in real-time, 24 hours a day.
JLDN (Japanese Lightning Detection Network) is a nationwide lightning observation network operated by Franklin Japan.
It consists of 31 sensors from Hokkaido to Okinawa, creating an observation network that seamlessly covers all of Japan.
The lightning location accuracy of JLDN is below an average positional error of 300 meters, achieving precision comparable to large-scale lightning observation networks such as NALDN (North America) and EUCLID (Europe).
