Improved productivity by accommodating variations in the pilot hole diameter of the counterpart material! This is a tapping screw for thin plates!
Introducing Yamashina Co., Ltd.'s newly released tapping screw for thin plates, 'SPILEAD'.
It features a three-start thread, but the height of the thread peaks is higher only for part of the screw, which reduces the resistance during screwing. All three thread heights align directly below the head. This design achieves both low screwing torque and high breaking torque, allowing for stable fastening even with variations in pilot hole diameter and material thickness. (Patent pending)
Additionally, it can be inserted stably into the pilot hole, preventing diagonal entry. The time required for screwing is also shorter than that of screws conforming to JIS standards, contributing to improved productivity.
【Features】
- Capable of accommodating variations in pilot hole diameter and material thickness
- Addresses variations in fastening torque of electric screwdrivers
- Inserts straight without diagonal entry
- Short tapping screws for thin plates, such as M4×6
