Maintenance cost reduction coating BARIAS [Powder adhesion suppression] V

Are you struggling with equipment issues due to powder adhesion at the manufacturing site and the repeated cleaning? Reduce maintenance costs with coatings specialized in suppressing powder adhesion!

BARIAS Z-1 is a coating material that suppresses the adhesion of various powders and sludge. The adhesion suppression effect after coating lasts for a long time, allowing for reduced maintenance costs and alleviating the burden of hazardous cleaning tasks. <Features> - Excellent cleanability and long lifespan: Highly water-repellent - Prevents bridging: Suppresses the adhesion of powders (such as coal, gypsum, incineration ash) and sludge - Thick film coating: Extending equipment lifespan by changing the thickness of the applied film - Applicable to irregularly shaped items <Adhesion Suppression Function by Powder Type> *Excerpt a. Adhesion target b. Evaluation c. Angle of slide 1. Coal (dry) △ 47° 2. Coal (wet) ○ 44° *Moisture content 10% 3. Lime (dry) △ 50° 4. Lime (wet) ○ 37° *Moisture content 10% 5. Iron (dry) ○ 38° 6. Nylon fixing agent (fixation treatment for acid dyes)

Our "water-soluble phenolic resin" strongly bonds and adheres to nylon fibers and acidic dyes.

As an example of the applications of our water-soluble phenolic resin, we would like to introduce the "Nylon Fixing Agent." Our water-soluble phenolic resin is a resol resin made from dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone (DHDPS) and phenol sulfonic acid. DHDPS has an electron-withdrawing sulfonyl group at its center, which gives it a much stronger hydrogen bonding capability at both ends compared to ordinary compounds like phenol, cresol, or tannic acid, allowing it to form strong hydrogen bonds with the azo groups of acid dyes. By utilizing the ionic bonding strength between the terminal amino groups of nylon fibers and the sulfonic acid groups of the water-soluble phenolic resin, as well as the hydrogen bonding strength between the azo groups of acid dyes and the hydroxyl groups of the water-soluble phenolic resin, we can fix the dye to the fibers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
