The insertion using a robot has been completed.

We have created a device that can press in many points while being operated by a robot using a servo press.

We received the theme of wanting to press multiple points with a single machine. One of the themes we are advancing in automation is the consolidation of processes. As we progress with EV products, there is also a demand for compactness. In this case, since multiple pressing points are required, typically, a device would move the product to the pressing location each time a single point is pressed. However, we needed a device where the robot holds the servo press, which is the pressing power. This method is difficult to adjust due to frequent errors on the robot side caused by the load, and even when consulting with robot manufacturers, there are often cases where it is not feasible. However, we successfully completed a device that combines our existing pressing technology for the tooling side with the control technology of the robot side, which has handled various automation tasks. The load for this case (servo press) is specified at 30 kN.
