[Case Study] Color Sand (Imagawa Promenade)
A spacious and easy-to-walk sidewalk for drainage! Introducing the case study of the permeable and water-retaining paving material "Color Sand."
In Takaishi City, Osaka Prefecture, our permeable and water-retaining paving material 'Color Sand' has been adopted for the "Imagawa Promenade." The "Imagawa Promenade," constructed in March 2016, was previously a drainage channel where domestic wastewater flowed in, causing odors and insects to emerge in the summer, which troubled the residents. In response to calls from local residents for renovations that consider hygiene and safety, the river was converted into an underground channel, and our product, which excels in permeability and water retention, was used for the surface. It has transformed into a spacious and easy-to-walk promenade. 【Benefits of Adoption】 ■ Excellent water retention, capable of handling heavy rain of 30mm/h ■ The surface has fine bumps, making it less slippery even in the rain ■ No water splashing, making it easy to walk on even when the surface is wet ■ Soft walking sensation, reducing strain on the legs and back ■ Color options that harmonize with the surrounding landscape *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
