There are challenges with the pipe bending work. After introducing the i-TOOL coolant hose, the bending work has been eliminated, leading to increased work efficiency. [*Trial demo set available*]
We would like to introduce a successful case study of the aluminum high-pressure coolant hose from Zero Seiko Co., Ltd.
Zero Seiko, which produces precision parts related to aerospace, defense, and hydraulic equipment, discharges coolant liquid between the workpiece and the cutting tool when machining parts on a multi-axis lathe to suppress heat generated by cutting. Previously, they used bent copper piping fixed with cable ties, which had some play and was unstable. Although the pressure was not particularly high at 2 MPa, they struggled with the time required for adjustments because chips would fly and hit the piping, causing it to change direction.
By using our product, the i-TOOL coolant hose, they were able to supply coolant liquid precisely and consistently for long periods without the hose shifting. The need for bending and adjusting the hose was eliminated, resulting in reduced work time and improved efficiency.
