Case Study on the Introduction of ORC Binary Power Generation Ceramic Firing Kiln
Why throw away valuable energy? Heat recovery from ceramic firing kilns.
We would like to introduce a case of heat recovery from a ceramics firing kiln. The ceramics industry consumes and dissipates a large amount of energy. With our unique technology, we can install a special heat exchanger at the hottest part of the cooling stage of the firing kiln, allowing for the recovery of up to 45% of the heat generated by the burner. A standard 4,000 kWt tile kiln capable of producing 7,600 kg of tiles per hour can provide sufficient heat to operate a 175 kWe ORC module from Zuccato Energia. [Case Overview] ■ Target Installation - A standard 4,000 kWt tile kiln capable of producing 7,600 kg of tiles per hour ■ Results - Sufficient heat supply for a 175 kWe ORC module from Zuccato Energia - Ability to send over 1 GW of electricity to the power grid annually, allowing for rapid amortization of capital investment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
