Wide-gap plate heat exchanger

It prevents clogging inside the device even with fluids that are prone to clogging, significantly reducing the number of cleaning cycles.

Wide-gap is a "plate type" developed for the purpose of heat exchange in fluids containing fibers and coarse particles, as well as in fluids with high viscosity. In conventional "plate type" and other types of heat exchangers, fluids that tend to clog are managed with wide-gap flow paths. This prevents blockages within the unit even with fluids that are prone to clogging, significantly reducing the frequency of cleaning. Furthermore, the unique wavy plates generate advanced turbulence in the fluid, dramatically enhancing heat exchange efficiency. It demonstrates performance that exceeds the limits of tubular heat exchangers in processes such as sugar production, fermentation alcohol distillation, chemical processes, and the paper and pulp industry. The Twin-plate is a "plate type" developed to handle fluids that can penetrate rubber gaskets and highly permeable fluids. It creates a bag-shaped cassette plate (Twin-plate) by laser welding the seal sections of two plates and combines them with a gasket. Alternating flow paths sealed by the welded sections and the gasket are formed, allowing fluids that can penetrate the gasket to flow through the welded flow paths. It is ideal for cases where the use of gaskets is not possible on the process liquid side and where disassembly and cleaning are required on the other side, making it effective in refrigeration systems using ammonia refrigerants, heating and cooling of solvents or process liquids, and district heating and cooling.
