This dedicated flaw detector is designed for ultrasonic testing of gas pressure welded joints of deformed bars. It simply scans the probe and displays the peak waveform of the transmitted pulse on the screen. By pressing [F2: Set Reference Level], the gain is automatically adjusted to ensure the peak waveform reaches a reference level of 50%.
