The exterior walls of the newly constructed bank were finished with a lightweight natural sandstone (split surface) exterior material, resulting in a bright and high-quality appearance.
We would like to introduce an example of the exterior wall of a newly constructed building with an ALC substrate, finished with the natural sandstone-like "Multicolor Sagan."
【Property】 [Renovation] A certain bank (Yao City, Osaka Prefecture)
◇Construction Date: April 2011
◇Construction Area: 88m2
◇Substrate: ALC
【Customer's Challenges and Requests】
◆We want a bright and friendly appearance suitable for a new bank building.
◆Although the exterior wall has an ALC substrate, we want a high-end stone-like appearance.
◆We prefer exterior materials that are durable, weather-resistant, difficult to stain, and have a long lifespan.
【Adoption Background】
◇We proposed a product that offers a heavy, sandstone-like finish for the ALC substrate exterior wall, resembling real stone.
◇While real sandstone is prone to staining and deterioration, making it unsuitable for exterior walls, our product "Multicolor Sagan" was recognized for its suitability as an exterior material and was adopted.
【Selection Points】
◆Natural sandstone is unsuitable for exterior wall materials due to dust contamination and the growth of mold and moss; however, our product "Multicolor Sagan" can be used for exterior walls due to its stain resistance and high weather resistance.
◆Since the substrate is ALC, heavy stone materials cannot be installed, but our product is lightweight, making it easy to install on ALC substrates.
◆Thanks to high-design construction techniques, the finish resembles that of real stone (sandstone split surface).
