Q: Are there any differences from the conventional method? A: Of course, there are no needs to set up scaffolding, the investigation period can be shortened, and costs can be reduced. Why not switch from traditional exterior wall inspections to drone inspections?

Drone inspections have been legally recognized as having the same level of accuracy as sounding rod surveys due to the revision of Article 12 of the Building Standards Act effective April 1, 2022. In traditional inspection methods, workers conducted inspections using sounding rods or took images of the exterior walls from the ground with infrared cameras and analyzed the images. However, these methods resulted in lengthy investigation periods and made it impossible to inspect high-rise areas. With drone inspections, it is possible to inspect high-rise areas using drones equipped with infrared cameras. With drone inspections, it is possible to inspect high-rise areas using drones equipped with infrared cameras. In traditional methods, workers had to carry surveying equipment and measure all necessary points, which resulted in long work periods and high time and cost expenditures. However, drone surveying significantly reduces both time and costs, and can accommodate large areas of land or difficult-to-access terrains.
