While they knew that the equipment had stopped, they could not determine "when" or "for how long" it had been down, and the only way to find out was to ask the person in charge directly, which resulted in significant time loss and was very troublesome. In response, we proposed a solution that would allow for real-time monitoring of production status, along with the collection of production information, operational management, aggregation, and analysis to resolve their concerns. We introduced the "IRD/IDD series" along with the "Leader" software, enabling them to measure "downtime history."
