Company C faced the issue of wanting to reduce manufacturing costs but not knowing where to improve. They were considering visualizing the areas for improvement. In response, we suggested that it was necessary to first investigate the current manufacturing times, and to do this, we introduced the "IRD/IDD series" along with the "Leader" software. We began by investigating the manufacturing times for each product type, and based on the investigation, we started improvement efforts focusing on products with longer visualized manufacturing times. We have received feedback stating, "The actual 'reduced time related to manufacturing' has started to be represented as a numerical value, which has also led to improvements in the members' attitudes towards their work."
