We would like to introduce a case study of how Uekigumi Co., Ltd. utilized Autodesk's civil engineering CAD "Civil 3D." <Overview> Uekigumi, headquartered in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture, embarked on full-scale BIM/CIM utilization with a team of three in the civil engineering department starting in 2016. The results bore fruit just three years later, when the "Shinnozumi Bridge Pier No. 2 Construction," completed in December 2019, was recognized by the Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and received a Director's Award. The company emphasizes that BIM/CIM should never be outsourced.
