[Case Study] Reduction of design man-hours and utilization of data for subsequent processes such as procurement/manufacturing.

Contributing to the reduction of mistakes and losses in design operations, pursuing cost reduction and cost-effectiveness of existing electrical CAD, and utilizing design data for subsequent processes.

Introduction of the case study for the electrical and control design CAD system "ACAD-DENKI" Mitsuba Electric Industry Co., Ltd. faced two major challenges: 1. Improving the quality of manufacturing drawings raised by the manufacturing department during the production design process. 2. Issues related to licensing costs. By implementing our developed and sold electrical design CAD "ACAD-DENKI," they achieved a reduction in design man-hours and enabled the utilization of data for subsequent processes such as procurement and manufacturing. Through repeated proof-of-concept experiments leveraging the 3D capabilities of the base CAD, BricsCAD, further data integration is being advanced. [Challenges before implementation] - Reducing mistakes and losses in design operations - Cost reduction of existing electrical CAD and pursuit of cost-effectiveness - Utilization of design data for subsequent processes *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Wiring Support System Implementation Case: Nikko Electronic Industries Co., Ltd.

Improvements were sought on the theme of "efficiency and cost reduction in the processes from design to manufacturing," so we introduced the Zuken Alphatech / panel wiring support system!

We are introducing the purpose of implementation (background of implementation), the reasons for choosing our system, and the effects of implementation. Originally, our main business was the design and manufacturing of control panels for our parent company, Nikko Co., Ltd. However, with the aim of future business expansion, we began manufacturing distribution boards and control panels for other companies' products. Nevertheless, since we were latecomers in the market for other companies' products, competitiveness became an issue. The management requested improvements with the theme of "efficiency and cost reduction in the processes from design to manufacturing," and the design group spent time gathering information while going through trial and error. ▼ Reasons for choosing Zuken Alphatech / Panel Wiring Support System - As a manufacturer (development/sales/support) of electrical control CAD, they had many years of experience and achievements. - Through our own verification before implementation, we identified the potential for a system that could achieve "efficiency from design to manufacturing." - A consistent support system was prepared from design to manufacturing operations, and they provided accurate support from the pre-implementation stage. Please check the actual implementation effects through the related links below. For product details, please refer to the catalog.

[FlexSim Case Study] Yamamoto Metal Works Co., Ltd.

Visualization of improvement effects! Detailed reproduction of the conveying actions of multiple processing machines and robots, as well as the movements of the people involved.

The "Learning Factory" being developed by Yamanaka Metal Works Co., Ltd. is based on the concept of a highly intelligent autonomous control type unmanned factory that utilizes data acquired in real-time. When providing services and equipment design to stakeholders and customers in the production site, we believed that using simulations that model the factory's equipment in 3D would allow for explanations with much stronger persuasive power than just using machine drawings and presentation materials. This belief was the catalyst for considering the introduction of 'FlexSim.' In addition to the transport operations of multiple processing machines and robots, we also meticulously reproduced the movements of the people involved. From the simulation results, it was found that more working time was spent on production tasks in different processes than on the main production operations within the model factory. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose: To demonstrate solutions to urgent issues faced by the domestic manufacturing industry ■ Selection: Focused on user-friendly 3D simulation features *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

What is 3D CAD that realizes shorter delivery times and higher quality for machine tools and processing machines?

Reduce rework in the later stages! A 3D CAD that can detect and correct defects during the design phase.

Currently, in the market for machine tools and processing machines, there is an increasing demand for high-quality products with short delivery times. Instead of repeatedly prototyping to ensure quality, it is important to discover and correct defects during the design phase to reduce rework. iCAD achieves high-speed response capable of handling 3 million parts in 0.2 seconds. It can manage the entire assembly even for large machine tools, accumulating and utilizing various information, including motion and electrical/control data. For example, confirming movements through device models and utilizing electrical circuit diagrams for automatic wiring routing allows considerations that were traditionally done with physical machines to be conducted during the design phase. This prevents damage to actual machines due to dynamic interference and increases in man-hours due to on-site wiring path adjustments, enabling the production of high-quality machines with short delivery times. \ Customer case studies are exclusively available on the <Special Site>! / ▶ Click on the Special Site and download now! ↓↓↓

WiringPLAN, the wiring and length measurement processing of ACAD-DENKI.

【Up to 40% reduction in delivery time】 Complete wiring/measurement processing in the design stage, automatic aggregation of terminal and wire information, and creation of wiring diagrams and manufacturing data from drawings.

- Manufacturing instructions and data for machinery are being created manually. - Efficient assembly and wiring tasks are becoming dependent on specific individuals, and knowledge transfer from veterans is not occurring. - There are many reworks due to design changes, making it difficult to respond to short delivery times. ================================================== Among control panel manufacturers, there may still be companies facing challenges like those mentioned above. By adding "WiringPLAN," an optional product from ACAD-DENKI, you can strengthen collaboration with manufacturing and achieve further operational efficiency. ■Features The wiring processing function automatically calculates wiring routes from the created circuit diagrams and layout diagrams, generating the necessary number of terminal blocks and wires, as well as a wiring table. The length measurement function retrieves length information from the position data of components and ducts in the drawings and outputs data for wire processing machines. Even when there are design changes, differential information can be extracted, making it easy to identify changes. You can download the introductory materials for the base ACAD-DENKI from the PDF catalog. Please feel free to contact us regarding WiringPLAN. *The video feature introduction starts at 2:30.
