Air breather with moisture-absorbing agent
Protecting mechanical devices and raw material powders from moisture and particle contamination.
The air breather containing a desiccant manufactured by Schröder Co. supports cost reduction and production improvement by protecting machinery and raw material powders from moisture and particulate contamination. When pressure changes occur inside the tank, moist air is drawn in, passes through a 2-micron filter and diffusion material, and then through silica gel, where moisture is absorbed. The dry air is further purified by a second 2-micron contaminant filter (bi-directional airflow compatible breather). Only filtered clean air, free from moisture and contaminants, can access the inside of the tank, and the absorbed moisture and filtered contaminants are trapped inside the breather without re-emission.
