"Depth and Shallow Water Survey Using Remote-Controlled Boat" utilizes an all-in-one remote-controlled boat (RC-3) equipped with D-GPS and built-in sonar, which automatically navigates along the survey line to measure water depth using its internal sonar. The single sonar has a depth measurement range of 0.5 to 80 meters, making it specialized for shallow areas. The navigation range is 800 meters, and the position is automatically navigated along a pre-specified baseline using D-GPS. The observation data is recorded as numerical data matched with the measurement location and water depth values. In areas where GPS signals cannot be received, position measurement is possible using an automatic tracking total station.
